International Excellence Scholarship

There are range of generous scholarships worth up to £4,000 per year, as a tuition fee discount, to high achieving postgraduate (Master’s) international students.

These offers are available for courses with January or September entry. Find out from the following worth.

£1,000 scholarships (1 year)
They can be combined with any other scholarship, but not the Alumni referral discount or Alumni discount.
They are available to undergraduate students with international fees status only.

Alumni Discount

20% tuition fee discount for all UK, EU and international alumni holding a full Roehampton undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification. And those for an exchange/study abroad programme who wish to return to the University of Roehampton to undertake a higher programme of study.

Note:

Applicants must be enrolling in a programme that is taught on campus.
The discount is not available in conjunction with the International Excellence Scholarships or Academic Excellence Scholarships.
All alumni from short courses including
1. Pre-sessional,
2. International Foundation Certificate,
3. Pre-masters Certificate,
4. Foundation Degree,
5. CPD are exempt from this discount.
This is awarded automatically, based on evidence of the previous study at the University.

Alumni Referral Discount

For enrolling on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme for an international student, who have been referred by an alumnus of the university who holds a full Roehampton qualification or studied here on an exchange/study abroad programme. Applicants must be enrolling in a programme that is taught on campus.

Roehampton Music Scholarship

The University of Roehampton offers music scholarships to international students demonstrating high levels of excellence in music. They help the undergraduate and postgraduate student to meet some of the costs of developing their talents through lessons, courses or the purchase of relevant equipment. Music scholars enhance the cultural life of the university through performances and other activities.

The cash scholarships are worth up to £1200 per year.

Scholarships are awarded by the Director of Music, based on an assessment of an application and audition.
It’s can be combined with any other scholarship.
They are available to home and international students.

Scholarship for Sporting Excellence

The University of Roehampton London decided to offer students the opportunity to play sports at all levels. The University offer a support network designed to encourage talented sportsmen and women to meet their full potential in their academic studies, as well as their chosen sport.

Cash scholarships worth between £500 and £1500 per year. Successful recipients also receive travel and entry costs for competitions and gym access.

Note:

The scholarships are awarded by the Sport and Active Communities Manager after enrolment, based on an assessment made during an application process.
They can be combined with any other scholarship.
They are available to home and international students.

Esports Scholarships

Up to 20 cash scholarships, worth £1500 per year of your degree, are available to students who demonstrate aptitude in esports.

The scholarships are given based on an assessment of an additional online application and subsequently approved by a panel.
They can be combined with any other scholarship.
The scholarships are for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including international and full-year study abroad students.

Country Scholarships

The University decided to empowered talented students from selected countries to study with us at the University of Roehampton. We know how much the costs of tuition fees, living expenses, accommodation are in real terms, so we have put in place extra financial support to help students to afford to study at Roehampton.

Country Scholarship A: This award is worth £2,500 to each successful applicants who enrol in September or January.
Country Scholarship B: This award is worth £1,500 to each successful applicants who enrol in September or January.

Scholarship awarded for each year of study (maximum of 1 year for Postgraduate)

Eligibility

The Universit will automatically consider you for this award if you hold a conditional offer for an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree course.

You must successfully enrol for the September or January intake in order to receive the award. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount.

Scholarship A: Be a national of, and living in, one of these countries:-

5. Nepal;
6. Pakistan;
7. Nigeria;
8. Ghana;
9. Sri Lanka;
10. Vietnam.
Scholarship B: Be a national of, and living in, one of these countries:-

4. Malaysia,
5. Morocco,
6. Taiwan,
7. Turkey.
Be self-funded, studying full-time and paying overseas tuition fees.
Hold a conditional offer for a qualifying course.

Not be progressing to us through our partnership with QA Higher Education, students progressing through this route will be eligible for alternative scholarship offerings.

This award will not be combined with any other Roehampton scholarship. If you are eligible for two scholarships or discounts, we will award you one of the highest value.
