The University of Strathclyde scholarships is open for all international students to apply. Scholarships for your pathway programme and university degree
If you are a self-funded student, you could be eligible for a combined scholarship from the University of Strathclyde International Study Centre and the University for your pathway programme as well as your undergraduate or postgraduate study.
Who can apply?
You can apply for one of our scholarships for international students if you’re a self-funded student on the following programmes:
- Undergraduate Foundation Programme
- International Year One BBA
- International Year Two Civil Engineering
- Postgraduate pathway programmes (excluding the Online Accelerated Pre-Masters Programme)
How do I get a scholarship?
The scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. You must request the scholarship when applying for your pathway programme.

Once you progress from the International Study Centre, the University of Strathclyde then awards scholarships each academic year upon achieving 60%.
How are international scholarships awarded?
You’ll need to be achieving a minimum of 60% on your International Study Centre programme and be a self-funded student.

University scholarships are available at all four faculties at the University of Strathclyde.
Faculty of Engineering scholarships
