Register with GCKey

A GCKey enables you to securely access the Government of Canada’s online services.

This will include a username and password that you choose. you must create security questions also. These steps keep your data secure and let you recover your account at any time.
Follow the steps below to register with GCKey.

  1. Click Register with a GCKey or copy the link and paste it on your browser below.
  2. Click Sign Up.
  3. Read the Terms and Conditions of Use and click I Accept.immigration to canada

  5. Create a password. Click Continue.
  6. Create security questions and responses. Click Continue.
  7. Click Continue to get to the Sign Up Complete page.
  8. Read the Terms and Conditions. Click I Accept.

Sign-In Partner

This is a secure way for users to sign in to their Canadian online account using information they have already.
Note: Sign-in Partners are groups such as Bank, and Credit Unions that partner with SecureKey Technologies that provides online identity services. If you’re a customer of a bank or credit union, use the same sign-in that you used to access their account or services to access Government of Canada Services.

How to register with a Sign-in Partner

  1. Click Register with a Partner Sign-In below.
  2. Choose your financial institution.
    If you don’t see your financial institution listed, you need to register with GCKey.
  3. Enter your banking sign-in information and click Continue.
  4. Read the Terms and Conditions of Use and click I Accept.
  5. Enter your information and follow the steps to create your account.
